Full description

Day 1

We start the trip after breakfast with a walking tour of Antigua with a local guide before taking some free time to explore and have lunch. In the afternoon we travel to meet a local farmer for a tour of their small farm. They will teach us how to process coffee the traditional way and we will see first hand what it is like to be a farmer in Guatemala. This farmer is a part of a local cooperative non-profit that works with small farmers to get the best price and open markets for them worldwide in order to compete with the bigger farms. They will tell us about the coffee business here in Guatemala. This evening we visit a traditional restaurant for dinner where our host will tell us about the traditional meals of Guatemala.

Day 2

Today we make the 2 hour 45 min journey to El Paredon Surf Beach on the pacific ocean. We will make a coffee stop on the trip and aim to arrive before 11am. Take the day to explore this small seaside town and its chilled out atmosphere.

Day 3

After lunch we will drive back to Antigua stopping at a local brewery for a tour and to samples!. Toast of a great tour with the sun setting behind Volcan de Fuego.
